Welcome To The Foundry

My outdoor training ground in Wellsville Kansas

Forging Resilience through Precision Logistics.

At The Foundry, we don't just lift; we manage output. Utilizing a biomedical approach to high-tonnage training, we've developed a system that treats every session as a critical technical operation. In the Kansas elements, we prove that longevity isn't a byproduct—it is the objective. Track numbers own the results.

About First Year Gainz

Why “The Foundry”?

  • The Location: An outdoor training ground in Wellsville, Kansas dedicated to high-tonnage strength training with a strict focus on longevity.

  • The Gold Standard: A core belief that Barbell Priority is the essential foundation for building a resilient frame.

  • Mechanical Safety: Utilizing tools like pins and blocks to ensure safe lifting at age 46 and beyond.

  • Data Clarity: The philosophy that precise tracking is the only way to ensure progress without burnout.

  • The Mission: Providing the blueprints and technical direction designed for those starting their journey later in life.

The Work in Progress

A foundry never stops running. These are the specific training blocks and technical experiments currently being pushed to the limit in the Kansas elements.

The Accumulation Objective

We are currently in Phase 2. The goal is structural resilience through high-volume tonnage. By focusing on 5×5 protocols, we are building the “Big Engine” necessary to handle peak loads in later phases.

Every session is built around a primary barbell movement. At age 46, longevity is the priority, which is why we utilize pins, blocks, and a “Mechanical Integrity First” approach.

The system is currently calibrated for a 270lb Rack Pull milestone. While our verified capacity has reached 320lbs, this phase ensures that the 270lb standard is effortless and repeatable.

Stop guessing and start tracking. You can download the exact High-Tonnage Roadmap I use here at The Foundry for just $10. It includes the full phase-by-phase breakdown, tonnage calculators, and the technical protocols designed for longevity.

STATUS: ACCUMULATION PHASE ACTIVE (5x5 Focus)

Utilizing biomedical logic, this project tracks managed volume expansion. We focus on total poundage moved to ensure progressive overload while keeping technical fatigue thresholds nominal.

STATUS: DEVIATION MONITORING ACTIVE

OBJECTIVE: To maximize productive stress while ensuring zero structural downtime for the mature, high-output lifter. Every data point logged to the server is audited against these safety parameters.

STATUS: MAINTENANCE ACTIVE [Year 46 Target]

OBJECTIVE: To ensure that physical strength remains a permanent, high-performing asset well into the next decade.

Environmental Adaptation: Weather Watch (Outdoor Temp: 72°F) Spring Weather

The study of discipline against the elements. This ongoing project focuses on maintaining high-tonnage performance through the extremes of the Kansas seasons, from high-heat summers to freezing winter sessions.
